12/26/15 – Food Crises, Droughts, Famine & Crop Challenges on a Consistent 40-Year Cycle Basis: 2016/2017 ushers in the next phase of this uncanny cycle, just as many commodities are signaling the potential for multi-year bottoms!
Jim Goddard asks Eric about his ongoing expectation for 2016/2017 to usher in a new Food Crisis, similar to the late-1970’s (1976/1977 was worst drought in California in 20th century and coincided with parabolic price surges in many food commodities), the late-1930’s (1936 was warmest year in North America – up until 2012 – and coincided with the Dust Bowl and a devastating Food Crisis in the US and across the globe), late-1890’s, late-1850’s, late-1810’s & late-1770’s.
This coincides with some revealing technical analysis & signals just emerging in Soybeans, Corn, Wheat & Rice; in Gold, Silver & Copper; in Cattle & Hogs and in Cotton, Coffee, Sugar & other commodities. Jim & Eric also discuss the impacts of solar cycles, climate change & earth disturbances (particularly volcanic swarms) on crop raising and Eric pinpoints the future year (2019) when the greatest synergy of all these cycles culminate. As Eric also reminds listeners, however, the crescendo is cyclically poised to begin in 2016 and accelerate into a climax in/around 2019. So, 2016–2019 is expected to see a steady increase in these challenges.
Eric also updates his discussion on the ongoing intensification of soil erosion in the US and around the globe… the development of super-bugs & super-pests in modern agriculture… as well as an emphasis on proper & responsible use of resources.
