Corn & Wheat Projecting May/June Surges; Reinforce 2019/2020 Food Crisis Cycles.
04/30/19 INSIIDE Track: “Soybeans & Corn remain above their 3Q ‘18 continuous lows while Wheat remains above its respective 3Q ‘16 & 4Q ‘17 lows, reinforcing a slow bottoming process.
Corn just fulfilled a 24-week high-high-high-(low) Cycle Progression with its April 25 low and could see a 1 – 2 month rebound take hold. That would validate a few key cycles…
Corn has one of the most consistent multi-year cycles – a 2-Year Cycle – that projects a future low for 3Q 2020 (ideally Aug. ’20). That would perpetuate a ~2-year high Aug. ’12) – low (Sept. ‘14) – low (Aug. ’16) – low (July ‘18) – low (3Q ’20) Cycle Progression.
Corn has remained above its 3Q ’16 low (301.0/C) and set a higher low in 3Q ’18, so the 3Q ’20 cycle would likely time a higher low. A corresponding ~1-Year Cycle could produce an intervening low in 3Q (Aug. ?) ’19. In between both of those ascending lows, intervening rallies would be expected.
Since Corn has an overlapping 2-year (and 1-year) cycle that portends multi-month highs in May/June ’19 & May/June ’20, it could see a rally into June 2019.”
Corn & Wheat are fulfilling multi-month cycle lows in late-April 2019 and projecting strong rallies for May/June 2019. Could this be the first phase of Food Crisis Cycles forecast for 2019 – 2020?
