Stocks Poised for Sept ’26 Decline as DJIA Fulfills Projected Sept 3/4th High.
09-05-26 – “Stock indexes are mixed with most rebounding into Sept 3/4th – the ideal scenario for the next stage of ushering in a larger decline in Sept ‘26…
Stock Indices continue to trace out a multi-week/month topping process, led by the NQ-100… Most other indexes turned their daily trends down last month and then bounced in late-August – without reversing those daily trends back up.
That projected a new wave of selling, which has been unfolding and which could ultimately create a decline into late-Sept ’26 – linked to the same DJIA cycle that helped pinpoint the late-March ’26 low (see Sept ’26 INSIIDE Track)…
Stock indices rebounded into Sept 3/4th, the ideal scenario based on multiple factors. That is the same time of month the DJIA has set its intra-month highs since May ’26 – the latest phase in a geometric ~1-month/~30-degree high (May 7) – high (June 4) – high (July 7) – high (August 5) – (high; Sept 3/4, ’26) Cycle Progression.
It is also the ideal time for an intra-month high if the overall month is going to be a negative one (see 9/02/26 Alert). That can then lead to an Intra-month Extreme-Extreme with the high set near the start of the month and the ultimate (intra-month) low set at month-end.
The most convincing corroboration of these potential scenarios would emerge with a daily close below the Sept 1st – 3rd trading ranges.” TRADING INVOLVES SUBSTANTIAL RISK!
The NQ-100 has rebounded after fulfilling analysis for an overall decline into late-July ’26 and to multi-month support at ~27,400/NQ. The NQ-100 attacked ~27,400 on July 29th – precisely fulfilling that analysis and magnifying the significance of that support level. At the very least, that level should be viewed as 1 – 3-month support.
In the DJIA and other indexes, the projected August bounce ‘cast shadows ahead’ to Sept/Oct ’26! An ongoing decline – in the weaker indexes – could stretch from mid-August into late-Sept/early-Oct ’26!
On an intra-year basis, Stock Indexes surged from a powerful convergence of daily, weekly & monthly Cycle Progressions and timing indicators that projected (well in advance) a multi-month bottom on March 30, ’26. That set the stage for the remainder of 2026 and identified last-Sept ’26 as the most likely time for a future multi-month low to take hold in the DJIA.
That is one reason why an overall decline – from the early-August ’26 peak – is expected to last into late-Sept ’26!
