Stocks Reach Date of Aggression & DJIA Cycle Highs (April 19 – 21).
04/20/22 Weekly Re-Lay Alert – “Stock Indices are rallying with the DJIA on track to retest and exceed its March 29 high (35,369/DJIA) by/on April 22… would fulfill the 14 – 15-week Cycle Progression that has been in force (see above). Once again, that high could easily be a divergent one…
Many stocks and indexes were expected to create spike lows (new intra-month lows) to begin this week at the same time the DJIA was expected to hold above recent lows and then rally to new 2+-month highs by the end of the week. That is what has transpired…
As for intermediate cycles, equities are adhering to the outlook for 2022, first peaking in early-Jan ‘22 and suffering a sharp 1 – 2 month sell-off (fulfilling the 2-Year, 8-Month, 4-Month & 2-Month Cycle analyses) before setting divergent lows in Feb & Mar ‘22.
That was/is forecast to be part of a larger topping process in 2022 – with multi-month highs projected for early-Jan ’22 and Sept/Oct ’22…”
Stocks remain in a major topping process, fulfilling the outlook for a decisive peak in early-Jan ’22 followed by a 2 – 3 month plunge to begin 2022. That is just the start of a massive shift projected for 2022 – ultimately leading to market jolts in late-2022 through late-2023. An overall 4 – 5 month decline was/is expected between that Jan ’22 cycle peak and the next (Sept/Oct ’22).
A decisive time for stocks has arrived along with the Date of Aggression – April 19/20, ’22 – the exact date stock indexes peaked in 2016 (see 2-Year Cycle analogy) and underwent a sell-off into May 6 of that year. The next phase of this overall topping process – and next danger period – could follow an April 19 – 21 peak and result in another sharp sell-off in late-April ‘22.
Gold cycles also just peaked on April 18/19, ushering in a potentially volatile period.
